Your hosts

Nguyễn Mạnh Linh

Daniel Nguyen

CEO and Co-founder, NOWA Technologies

NOWA makes Nowa, an AI virtual pet on a handheld device for children aged 3 to 10. It helps kids build emotional intelligence, thinking skills and healthy daily habits, with an app that keeps parents involved.

Linh works deep in AI hardware and in AI Native organisation design, where AI agents take on most of the operating work so a small team can do what used to take a much bigger one. In the reading room he writes up how NOWA built that model, step by step.

Phạm Thanh Sơn

Fund Director, Viet Capital Asset Management

Sơn has spent nearly 20 years in global securities markets. Before joining Viet Capital Asset Management in 2021, he was a Macro Strategist at HSBC in London for five years, then an Associate Director at Tilney Smith & Williamson, where he led work to bring alternative data and machine learning into the investment process.

He holds an MPhil in Finance and Economics from the University of Cambridge and a first-class BSc in Economics from UCL. He brings a deep read on the economy and finance in Vietnam and worldwide, and on how technology trends are reshaping them.

What we talk about

In the reading room

The podcast is where we talk. The reading room is where Linh and Sơn write it down, in more depth, for members only. One post a week, with an email when it's up.
